NRA Home Firearm Safety
Course Description: The object of this course is to teach the knowledge, skills, and attitude necessary for the safe and proper handling of modern firearms, muzzleloaders, and air guns. This is a gun safety course only and does not include marksmanship instruction or live-fire shooting drills.
Topics: training on gun parts and operation, ammunition, safety, cleaning, storage, and loading procedures. It also provides information on teaching children about gun safety.

Prerequisites: none
Required Equipment: none. Instructors provide all firearms, dummy ammunition and other training aids used in the course. Students are not allowed to bring their own firearms to the course.
