AR15 Rifle

Course Description: This course is intended for people who are interested in improving their AR15 rifle skills.

Topics: shooting skills, ballistics, equipment selection, and use of the rifle in hunting, competition, and self-defense situations

Length: six hours

Prerequisites: previous rifle shooting experience, Basic Rifle or equivalent preferred

Required Equipment: an AR15 rifle (any configuration), and a minimum of 250 rounds of ammunition. Eye and ear protection. M1A, AK47, SKS and other semiautomatic, magazine fed rifle designs can also be used in this course with instructor approval. Contact us prior to class day if you plan on bringing a non-AR15 rifle to class.

Optional Equipment: see the general policies page for suggestions on food, drink, clothing, etc. A shooting mat, spotting scope, logbook, and sight adjustment tool (for non-scoped rifles), knee and/or elbow pads are all strongly recommended.
