If you send a deposit and cannot attend, your materials will be held by KR Training for your use in a future NRA instructor course. The remainder of your tuition will be due at the start of class. Eligibility: Instructor candidates should be experienced shooters capable of passing the Texas LTC qualification course. All NRA instructor candidates must attend a required number of training hours to be certified: there is no advanced placement for candidates with other instructor certifications (NRA policy). Curriculum: This course is intended for experienced shooters interesting in teaching beginning gun owners safety and marksmanship fundamentals. Saturdays training is all classroom and covers material common to all NRA instructor certifications on NRA policies and general teaching techniques. Sundays training is specific to the Pistol discipline and will primarily consist of instructor candidates teaching units and conducting live-fire exercises from the NRA Basic Pistol and Personal Protection courses.
