Assists with: all basic courses, AT I/IA/II, AR15, and others

NRA Certifications: Instructor in Home Firearm Safety, Pistol, Rifle, Shotgun, Personal Protection, Refuse To Be A Victim® and a Range Safety Officer .

Other Certifications: Type I Wildland Firefighter, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer NT/Windows 2000, CPR, Incident Command System, NOAA/NWS Skywarn.

Memberships: NRA, Texas State Rifle Association, US Practical Shooting Association, Texas State Fireman's and Fire Marshall's Association, 3-N-1 Volunteer Fire Department, Bastrop County Emergency District #1 (Commissioner and President), Area Gun Glubs

Training:

Personal: David is currently the Network Manager for The University of Texas Investment Management Company and a Fire Commissioner for Bastrop ESD #1. He holds an MCSE in both Windows NT and Windows 2000, holds a Lifetime Texas Resident Hunting and Fishing License and holds a Type I Wildland Firefighter Certification. In his free time, he enjoys fire-fighting, photography, home automation, weather systems, camping, fishing, hunting, home-brewing, geocaching, and guitar.
