Several shooters from the Central Texas area, including Karl, Penny, Roy Stedman, Trapr Swonson, Jamie Foote and Linda Foote attended the 2003 Steel Challenge, a.k.a the World Speed Shooting Championships. This year's match was won by 15 year old K.C. Eusebio, beating Jerry Miculek by 0.07 seconds.
