NRA Certifications: Instructor in Home Firearm Safety, Basic Pistol, Personal Protection, Range Safety Officer.

Training: Graduate of almost every KR Training tactical courses since March of 1999: Advanced Training I, IA, II, III, IVLow Light Handgun Skills, AR15 Rifle, and Home Defense Tactics.
    Graduate of InSightsDefensive Folding Knife,Unarmed Self Defense I, II, Ground Fighting, Intensive Handgun, Close Quarter Confrontation (which includes Handgun Retention and Disarming), and Defense Against Weapons.
    Texas Concealed Handgun License holder since 1998.

Military: U.S. Army from 1991 to 1994 as a Combat Medic (MOS: 91B10) and registered EMT.

Experience/Achievements: IPSC Competition Shooter since June of 1999. Still unclassified.   :-)  Recreational shooter since early childhood. He has been an active hunter since the age of 8.

Personal: Dan is a computer consultant and trainer for hire. His hobbies include playing several different sports, frequent hunting trips, shooting, and long-distance hiking.
