Here's some driving directions from Austin with photos of key landmarks:

Take Hwy 290 east, past Elgin, until you reach the intersection of Hwy 290 and Hwy 21.

IMPORTANT! When you get to Elgin, you are still 30 minutes from the range. The Hwy 21 intersection is approximately 15-20 minutes from Elgin.

Hwy 290 goes under Hwy 21, so you have to go over the overpass. When you see this sign

get into the right lane and get ready to drive up the overpass. Turn left (east) on Hwy 21, toward Bryan. Go 7 miles. When you see the Manheim Parish Hall on your right

start looking left for CR 107. There's a big 'BeefMasters' sign on the corner.

Turn left on CR 107 and go about 3 miles. Stay to the right when you reach the CR 106 / CR 107 fork.

After the fork in the road, stay on CR 107 and continue driving. You will pass several houses and farms, then CR 107 curves to the right, and the pavement ends.

Keep going on the unpaved part of CR 107 another 0.2 mile, until it intersects CR 145, which is paved.

Turn right on CR 145, which ends in a cul de sac.

You'll get to our gate. If it's closed, we are setting up for class and are not ready for students yet. If it's open, drive on in.

Keep going straight, onto the A Zone road. Watch out for dogs, cows, deer and other animals. The speed limit on the road is 10 mph and we do enforce it.

Follow the road about 400 yards to the rangehouse and berms. Park in the marked area by the cattle pen. The main entrance to the building is on the range side (not the cattle pen side).
